The variety was obtained through selection and is intended for short-rotation forestry systems. The wood is characterized by a low proportion of heartwood and reaction stress, which allows it to be used for the production of high-quality white veneer. The crop also demonstrates potential for the phytoremediation of contaminated soils.
The plant is resistant to leaf rust, leaf spot, bacterial canker, and poplar aphids. The variety is distinguished by relatively slow rooting, after which it demonstrates high growth rates that meet or exceed industry standards for energy plantations.
