Variety description

The tree has a narrow-to-medium crown, a pronounced central leader, and a massive trunk, sometimes forming several strong branches. The leaves have a straight base, a slightly wavy margin, a dark green color on top, and a lighter shade on the bottom.

The variety is one of the fastest-growing among the 1980 series hybrids. It is used for soil erosion control and the production of timber suitable for construction. It possesses good resistance to wind loads and drought conditions, but shows sensitivity to rust.
