Variety description

The variety is a triploid clone selected in Germany. It is used in breeding programs and forestry as a control sample for assessing the productivity and growth of stands, including in the establishment of biomass plantations.

The tree is characterized by rapid growth, a vigorous pyramidal semi-open crown, and a smooth gray trunk that becomes rough at the base with age. In trials, the variety demonstrates stable survival and the ability to adapt to poor, dry, sandy soils.

The triploid forms of the clone possess the advantage of longer wood fibers and increased volumetric increment, which is a valuable trait for the production of wood materials and the pulp and paper industry.
