The rootstock propagates well by hardwood cuttings, showing a high percentage of rooting, and is also suitable for in vitro micropropagation. It is adapted to calcareous and loamy soils with good drainage and is distinguished by increased resistance to chlorosis.

The plant exhibits resistance to powdery mildew, plum rust, leaf spot and pathogens of the genus Phytophthora. It belongs to the category of vigorous hybrid rootstocks; however, in compacted or specific calcareous soils under long-term cultivation, tree mortality is possible.
