The rootstock was obtained using Titan almond and Nemared peach. It is characterized by a medium chilling requirement of approximately 650–700 hours.
The plant possesses high resistance to the root-knot nematodes Meloidogyne incognita and M. javanica, as well as reduced susceptibility to crown gall. The rootstock is adapted to heavy, saline soils and soils with high pH levels.
It is distinguished by high drought tolerance, exceeding that of the Nemaguard rootstock. Adaptation to moisture deficit conditions occurs, among other things, through the accumulation of proline in the tissues.
