Variety description

The rootstock is used for peach and nectarine, and with compatibility limitations, is suitable for almond and some plum species. Trees grafted on this rootstock are characterized by moderate vigor and a semi-upright crown shape. Peach fruits on this rootstock are distinguished by high sugar content.

The plant is resistant to shot-hole disease and plum rust and possesses good anchorage. It adapts well to light and calcareous soils, requiring good drainage. It is propagated by hardwood cuttings and in vitro methods.

One-year-old shoots are green in spring and summer, turning intensely red in winter. Leaves are large, peach-type, light green, with a wavy serrated margin.
