The GOLGI 2 breeding line was obtained at the Valencian Institute for Agricultural Research for scientific work. The material is used exclusively for breeding purposes and programs aimed at developing pathogen-resistant varieties.

The main characteristic of this line is resistance to Plum Pox Virus. Detailed agronomic descriptions, including fruit characteristics, maturity dates, and plant habit, are unavailable as this object is not a commercial variety for horticulture.
