The variety is mid-season; fruits ripen 12–15 days after the Orangenaprikose variety. The tree is of medium vigor with a compact crown and good branching ability. It is distinguished by late or very late flowering, which protects it from spring frosts; it is self-fertile and enters bearing quickly.
The fruits are medium-sized, round-ellipsoid, with smooth skin, fully colored in dark red or crimson. The flesh is orange, becoming juicy and tender upon ripening. The taste is sweet with a subtle acidity; the stone separates well. The fruits are resistant to cracking and feature high keeping quality.
The variety is characterized by high yield and requires fruit thinning. It possesses resistance to Plum pox virus, and the buds have low susceptibility to winter frosts.
