Prunus avium (L.) L. Sweet cherry · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is vigorous, forming a large spreading or pyramidal crown, reaching a height of 4–6 meters. The variety is self-incompatible; for fruiting, it requires the presence of other pollinator varieties blooming at similar times.

The fruit is large, broadly rounded, with firm yellowish-white flesh and a sweet taste with a slight acidity. The skin is light yellow with a red “marbled” blush. The variety ripens in the period from July to August and is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The variety is hardy but demanding regarding soil conditions: it does not tolerate heavy, damp, and cold soils. Under unfavorable growing conditions, the tree is prone to gummosis.
