The AMAR MAXUT variety is a sour cherry traditionally used as a valuable raw material for industrial processing. The fruits have an average weight of 3.6 to 4.9 g with a stone weight of about 0.25 g. The skin color varies from yellow with a red hue to dark red and blackish.

The variety belongs to the medium maturity group and is distinguished by high resistance to fruit cracking, with an incidence rate of about 0.3%. During full bloom, frost resistance is estimated at 86.69%.

Due to the presence of the specific allele S39 (genotype S4S39), the variety is classified as a universal pollinator and has been studied in detail using S-genotyping methods.
