This object is not a fruit-bearing sweet cherry variety for human consumption. It is a breeding clone used as a rootstock, propagated from seeds. Trees grafted onto this rootstock are typically 10% less vigorous than those on standard Prunus avium seedlings, which simplifies maintenance and harvesting.

The plant is characterized by winter hardiness, disease resistance, and good adaptation to various soil types. It is propagated by seeds that require stratification. The rootstock is valued in nursery production for the relatively uniform growth of the seedlings.
