Amaris trees are characterized by low vigor. The variety belongs to the sour cherry group and is intended primarily for industrial processing.

The fruits have a dark red color, the average weight of a single fruit is 4.8–5.5 g, and the stone mass varies from 0.25 to 0.33 g. The variety is distinguished by a high content of soluble solids.

The plant demonstrates good resistance to frost and diseases, and also possesses high resistance to fruit cracking.
