The variety was discovered as a chance natural mutation on a branch of a Regina variety tree. Conducted trials confirmed the stability of the mutation and allowed for the preparation of virus-free planting material.
The fruits are late-ripening, large, firm, and crunchy, possessing a sweet taste and aroma. The tree has a growth habit similar to the Regina variety. The variety is intended for cultivation in orchards and is valued for the unusual coloration of the fruits.
1 jurisdiction

breeder code ghopa001
A single variety may be registered in different countries under different names. All records are consolidated into one profile based on the breeder's code—an internal number that is identical for the variety across all registries.
The primary name shown is the one under which the variety is registered in the largest number of jurisdictions. Search finds the variety by any of its names.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
