Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a cherry-plum hybrid derived from crossing sand cherry and Japanese plum. The shrub reaches a height of up to 1.5 meters and features a spreading or prostrate crown.

The fruits, weighing 10–20 g, have a round or oval shape and a dark-burgundy color. The flesh is juicy and sweet; the stone is small and difficult to separate. The variety has a mid-season maturity, ripening in late July or August.

The variety possesses high wood winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -34 °C, and has low susceptibility to major plum and cherry diseases. It is self-sterile and therefore requires the presence of pollinators in the form of sand cherry or other cherry-plum hybrids.
