The variety was obtained by crossing Lapins and Durone compatto di Vignola varieties. The tree is characterized as medium-vigorous. Ripening occurs 12–16 days after the Burlat variety.
The fruits are of medium or medium-large size, heart-shaped, and have red skin color. The sugar content in the fruits is about 16.5° Brix. The variety is distinguished by high and regular annual yield.
