The variety is a local and poorly studied genotype discovered in the Alba area. In genetic studies, it is used for the analysis of S-allele incompatibility, with no detailed bibliographic information on the origin of the variety available.

The fruits of the variety have a good taste and medium juiciness. Analysis of samples recorded a sugar content of 18.6° Brix and a low tendency for fruit cracking in the range of 0–5%.
