The variety belongs to the group of firm-fleshed sweet cherries and is a local cultivar of the Veneto region. The tree has medium to high vigor, a spreading crown, and enters commercial bearing in the 4–5th year. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators such as "Principe", "Bigarreau Burlat", "Giorgia", "Van", "Ferrovia" or "Durona di Vignola 1a".
Fruits are medium to large in size, have a spheroidal shape, shiny firm dark red skin, and juicy, firm flesh. The variety is characterized by good resistance to fruit cracking, high transportability, and keeping quality. Ripening occurs from the end of May to the first half of July, and due to late flowering in April, the variety is less susceptible to the influence of spring frosts.
