The variety belongs to the late maturity group, reaching ripeness 3–4 days after the «Kordia» variety. Fruits are large, colored dark red. The flesh is pink, firm, juicy, with a harmonious combination of sweet taste and mild acidity.

The plant possesses high fruit resistance to cracking and has no specific requirements for growing conditions. The variety is intended for the production of high-quality commercial yields.

«Těchlovan» and «Sylvana» are recommended as pollinator varieties. The «Elza» sweet cherry itself can also serve as a pollinator for other varieties.
