Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the category of specialized culinary cherries. The tree is small or medium in size, reaching a height of 3.5–5.5 meters, and has a rounded spreading crown with drooping branches. Fructification occurs mainly on annual shoots.

The fruits are large, round-oval in shape, with a mass of about 5.3 g. The skin color varies from dark red to almost black. The flesh is dark red, juicy, with a pronounced sour taste and wine notes. The stone is easily separated from the flesh.

The variety is self-fertile and can act as a pollinator for other types of cherries and sweet cherries. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9, but shows susceptibility to leaf spot. The harvest ripens in late July — August.
