The tree is vigorous, with an upward-directed, broadly pyramidal or spreading crown and large leaves. The fruits have a heart-shaped or slightly flattened-globular shape. At full maturity, the skin turns a dark burgundy color.

The flesh is light red, firm, crunchy, and very juicy; the taste is harmonious, sweet-sour. The clone is characterized by relative resistance of the skin to cracking during precipitation; however, the variety is susceptible to damage by the cherry fruit fly.

Pollinator varieties such as Hedelfingeni óriás, Solymári gömbölyű, or Linda are required to produce a yield. The fruits are versatile, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
