The Giored (CREA C2) variety is a tree with medium vigor and a spreading crown. It enters into bearing in the fourth year, with the crop forming primarily on spur branches and mixed shoots.

The fruits have a heart-shaped-flattened form and a bright dark-red color; the size of 80% of the fruits is 30 mm and larger. The flesh is juicy, moderately firm, with a pronounced sweet taste and a balance of sugars and acids. The thin skin requires protection from precipitation to prevent cracking.

Ripening occurs uniformly, which allows the harvest to be collected in a single pass. The long pedicel facilitates convenient harvesting. Burlat, Vera, and Grace Star are recommended as pollinator varieties.
