The Golia variety tree has low vigor, which facilitates maintenance and harvesting. The variety is early, and is noted as one of the earliest among the studied samples in terms of flowering and fruit ripening dates.

The fruits of this variety are characterized by large size. The variety is adapted to the pedoclimatic conditions of northeastern Romania and demonstrates resistance to frost and anthracnose.
