The variety was obtained by crossing Schneiders Spate Knorpel and Rube. The tree is medium-sized with a rounded crown, height depends on the rootstock. It enters the fruiting stage in the 4–5th year, yield is high and regular.

Fruits are large with a mass of 9–12 g, broadly conical or heart-shaped, dark maroon or red-black in color. The flesh is firm, cartilaginous and juicy, the taste is sweet. The variety possesses high transportability and resistance to fungal diseases.

The variety is self-sterile or partially self-fertile; for increased productivity, the presence of pollinators blooming at the same time is recommended. The purpose of the fruits is universal.
