The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 3–4 meters. The fruits have a round or broad-heart shape; their average weight is 3.5–4 g, reaching 5–8 g under favorable conditions. The skin color is dark cherry, becoming almost black upon full ripening.

The fruit flesh is dark red, juicy, fibrous, and tender; the taste is sweet with a light spicy note and a subtle acidity. The stone is medium-sized and semi-freestone. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and good resistance to diseases and pests.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinator varieties to produce a yield. «Ипуть», «Ревна», «Тютчевка», «Мичуринка», «Компактная Веньяминова», and «Фатеж» are recommended as pollinators.
