The variety belongs to the Knorpelkirsche (bigarreau) group and is characterized by fruits with firm flesh. In historical pomological literature, it is sometimes considered a synonym or a variety of the well-known Bigarreau Napoléon.

The plant is cross-pollinating and possesses a self-incompatibility system with S-alleles 3 and 4. The variety is traditionally used for dessert purposes, and the tree growth parameters depend on the type of rootstock and the method of crown formation.

The fruits of this variety are prone to cracking during rainfall in the ripening period. Specific data on the variety's resistance to modern diseases are absent in publications.
