Trees are vigorous with a spreading, broad crown of medium density. When using dwarfing rootstocks, tree growth is reduced by approximately a quarter. Mid-season variety; fruits ripen in late June — early July.

Fruits are very large, weighing 10–14 g, broad heart-shaped. Color is bright red, dark red upon full maturity, with shiny skin. Flesh is firm, juicy, crunchy, with a sweet dessert taste and a wine-like undertone; the stone separates well.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness and immunity to Coccomyces hiemalis and bacterial canker. It is partially self-fertile; for stable yield, pollinator varieties such as Lapins, Bigarreau Burlat, Rechitsa, or Poeziya are required.
