The tree reaches 4-6 meters in height. At a young age, the crown has an ascending branching pattern, later becoming broadly spreading and loose. The variety is distinguished by high vitality and reliable yields, however, flowering itself is sensitive to frosts below -2°C.

The fruits are large, round or heart-shaped, and when fully ripe, they are colored dark burgundy or almost black. The flesh is firm (cartilaginous), juicy, sweet, with a slight bitterness. The thick skin ensures resistance to cracking and high transportability.

The variety is late-maturing; the fruits ripen in early or mid-July. The plant is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinator trees of other varieties for fruiting. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and various types of processing.
