The tree is characterized by strong or medium vigor and a characteristic presence of V-shaped branch angles in the crown with many strong scaffold branches. The variety is characterized by high and regular yields, and the fruit ripening period usually falls in mid to late June.

The fruits are small or medium in size, heart-shaped or round, slightly flattened at the stem end. At full maturity, the color becomes black. The flesh is dark red, soft, sweet in taste with a slight tart nuance. The fruits have good resistance to cracking.

The variety is considered multipurpose: suitable for fresh consumption, home canning, juice preparation, and the production of distillates. Genetically, the variety belongs to the self-incompatible group S1S3.
