Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is vigorous, reaches a height of 4–6 meters, and forms an upright, egg-shaped crown. Fruiting begins in the 2–3rd year after planting. The variety is heat-loving and sensitive to late spring frosts.

Fruits ripen in late June – July. Berries are large, rounded, and dark red or almost black in color. The flesh is dark brown, firm, juicy, and sweet. The variety has resistance to fruit cracking and is suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.

To obtain a yield, pollinator varieties are necessary, such as Büttners Rote Knorpelkirsche, Hedelfinger Riesenkirsche, Schneiders Späte Knorpelkirsche or Regina.
