The sweet cherry variety Witzenhäuser Königskirsche originates from the North Hesse region. In a number of publications, it is mentioned as a synonym for the variety Büttners Späte Rote Knorpelkirsche, also known as Kaiser Franz.
This variety belongs to traditional sweet cherry types used in horticulture. A specialized agronomic description, including maturity group, fruit characteristics, or disease resistance, is absent from open sources.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
