The variety belongs to the bigarreau group with firm flesh. Fruits are large in size and dark red, almost black in color. Flavor quality is characterized as excellent, with a delicate spicy hint; the fruit juice stains intensely.

The variety has a late maturity period; the crop is harvested in early July. The culture is cross-pollinating and incompatible with the Františkova variety, therefore, selection of several pollinator varieties with matching flowering periods is required for planting.

The tree is suitable for cultivation at altitudes up to 450 meters above sea level. The variety is primarily used as a table fruit crop for fresh consumption.
