The tree reaches a height of 1.5–2.5 m, in some cases up to 4–6 m. The leaves are ovate, medium-green in color. Flowering occurs in April–May with white flowers. The variety is demanding of heat and prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with nutrient-rich soil, frost resistance down to -23 °C.
The fruits are round, medium-sized, have dark red skin and juicy sweet-and-sour flesh, from which the stone separates well. The harvest ripens starting in July. The fruits are used fresh, as well as for making jam, jelly, juices, and pastries.
