The variety is an isolated accession found in the Offagna area, Italy. Fruits have yellow skin with a reddish hue and numerous lenticels; the flesh is of medium consistency and light yellow in color. The stone is of medium size and broadly elliptical in shape.
The variety is characterized by high productivity and low acidity, possessing a distinct sweet taste. The fruits are used in production and are also being studied for their content of biologically active compounds for the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.
