The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the Bonne de Bry and Czar varieties. The tree is characterized by below-average growth and development intensity. The variety has been actively used in breeding programs to develop new forms, such as Herman and Katinka.
The fruits are large, oval-shaped, and dark blue in color. The ripening period occurs from the end of June to the beginning of July. The productivity level of the variety may be lower compared to modern breeding forms.
