The variety forms medium-sized trees, the height of which can be regulated by the use of different rootstocks. The fruits are of medium size, round or oval in shape, with dark red or purple-blue skin with a waxy bloom and juicy sweet-and-sour yellow flesh.

The ripening period occurs in the second half of July to the beginning of August. The variety is self-incompatible; for crop production, the presence of pollinator trees such as ‘Belle de Louvain’, ‘Reine Claude d'Ouillins’, or ‘Victoria’ is necessary. The tree is characterized by reliable fruiting and resistance to a number of diseases.
