The rootstock was bred in 1965 and is a hybrid of Prunus insititia and Prunus domestica. It is used exclusively for establishing intensive orchards, providing moderate vigor to grafted varieties, reducing it by 10–15% compared to vigorous analogs.

The plant possesses good compatibility with various plum, peach, and apricot varieties, and is distinguished by its tolerance to root system waterlogging. In the orchard, the rootstock is characterized by moderate root sucker formation.

Propagation of the material is carried out by hardwood cuttings, as well as by the in vitro micropropagation method.
