Fruits of this variety are characterized by small size, round shape, and yellow skin color. Harvest usually occurs in August. The variety shows low susceptibility to diseases.

The tree is self-fertile, but yields increase in the presence of pollinator varieties such as Hauszwetsche, Italiaanse Kwets, Reine Claude d'Althan, or Reine Claude d'Oullins. The plant can be grown as an espalier and can itself serve as a pollinator for other plum species.
