The tree is vigorous, forming a spreading or irregular crown. It enters into fruiting in the 3–4th year, and yield is characterized as unstable or moderate.

Fruits are round-oval in shape, weighing 25–45 g, with violet-blue skin and bloom. The flesh is yellow or orange, juicy, with a sweet-sour taste; the stone separates easily. The variety ripens in mid to late July.

Pollination requires other varieties such as Stanley, Victoria, Opal, Record or Altana. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption and is often used in breeding programs.
