The rootstock belongs to the species Prunus insititia and provides trees with a height of 3.5 to 5.5 meters. It is characterized by high compatibility with most plum varieties and is also used for grafting peach and apricot.

The plant possesses adaptability to various climatic conditions, however, it shows sensitivity to drought and severe winter frosts. There is a risk of transmitting viral diseases, in particular Plum pox virus (sharka), when using non-certified material.
