In official pomological publications, the name "Aprikola" is a synonym for the mirabelle variety "Aprimira". It is a vigorous tree with a spreading crown, which is not an interspecific hybrid. The fruits reach medium size, have an oval shape and a lemon-yellow color with a pinkish tint. The flesh is yellow, sweet, with a honey flavor.

This mirabelle variety is characterized by high yield, self-fertility, and disease resistance, and possesses good winter hardiness. Fruit ripening occurs in the mid-late period, in the second or third ten-day period of August.

In ornamental gardening, the name "Aprikola" refers to a floribunda rose variety, also known as Summer Beauty or Apricot Vigorosa. It is a spreading bush about 80 cm tall with salmon-amber flowers in clusters, distinguished by repeat blooming and high disease resistance.
