The Anita tree has moderate vigor and forms an open, sparse crown requiring minimal pruning. The variety is self-fertile and can serve as a good pollinator for other plum varieties.
The fruits are medium to large in size, with yellowish-white firm flesh and a sweet-and-sour taste. The skin is of medium thickness, colored in shades of red, yellow, and purple, and covered with a heavy bloom. The plant prefers light, nutrient-rich soils and is adapted to Swedish climatic zones I–III.
