The variety is a tree 3–4 meters in height with an ovate or rounded crown. It belongs to mid-late varieties, with a ripening period coinciding with early types of Prunus domestica. Flowering is mid-late, which reduces the risk of damage by spring frosts.
Fruits are medium to large in size, oval, and dark blue with an intense waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-orange, with a medium to firm consistency; it may become mealy when overripe. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing, including baking.
The plant exhibits tolerance to Plum pox virus, however, it is susceptible to Cytospora canker and bacterial canker. Due to its tendency toward high yields, there is a risk of branch breakage, which requires monitoring the crop load on the tree.
