The tree reaches a height of 4 to 6 meters and has a spreading, broadly rounded crown with summer-green, ovoid leaves. Flowering begins in April with white flowers. The variety is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties, such as Fellenberg.

The fruits are medium-sized, dark blue in color, and have juicy flesh with a sweet and aromatic taste. Harvesting takes place at the end of September. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, making jams, baking, and liqueurs, and the tree itself can serve as a honey plant.

The plant has good frost resistance. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with fertile, sufficiently moist, and well-drained soil. The variety is being studied in the context of susceptibility to fruit physiological disorders, such as pedicel shriveling, and viral diseases.
