The variety represents a selection within the population of the classic Hauszwetsche variety group. The fruits have a dark blue color with an intense waxy bloom and a distinct elongated-oval shape. The flesh separates easily from the pit and has a sweet, rich, spicy-aromatic flavor.

The tree is characterized by rapid formation of a sturdy crown with many strong scaffold branches, which are less prone to breakage. The variety is self-fertile and belongs to late maturity groups, with the harvest ready in September. The variety is sensitive to the plum pox virus (sharka), which limits its planting in infested zones.

The variety is valued as a high-quality table product, suitable for all types of processing: baking, preparation of marmalades, canning, and production of distillates. The genetic material of the variety is used in breeding programs to develop plum pox virus-resistant hybrids.
