ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum
Walter Hartmann c/o Universität Hohenheim
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by medium vigor, forms a harmonious, open canopy and reaches a height of 3–4 meters. The variety enters fruiting from the second year, is self-fertile, and is distinguished by consistently high yields. The plant possesses good winter hardiness and high resistance to spring frosts, sharka virus, monilinia, and rust.
The fruits weighing 35–45 g have an oval or elongated shape, dark blue or purple color with a waxy bloom. The flesh is juicy, firm, and easily separates from the pit. The fruits contain high amounts of sugar, do not crack on the tree, and have good keeping quality. The variety is versatile, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing.
