The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4 to 10 meters, and has a rounded or pyramidal semi-open crown. The harvest ripening period falls in September-October. Various local forms and clones may be grouped under the variety name.
The fruits are oblong-oval in shape, dark blue or blue-black in color with a glaucous bloom. The flesh is firm and juicy, greenish-yellow or orange in color, and possesses a sweet-sour taste. The stone separates well from the flesh.
The variety is self-fertile, but cross-pollination contributes to an increase in yield. The plant possesses good winter hardiness. In conditions of high humidity, preventive measures against fungal diseases are recommended.
