The tree is of medium vigor with a spherical, moderately dense crown, entering into fruit-bearing in the 3–4th year. The variety is self-fertile and precocious, demonstrating high and stable yield. Harvesting occurs from the end of August to the beginning of September; fruit ripening is often uneven.
The fruits are elongated-oval in shape with a mass of 35–55 g and have a dark blue or purple color with a waxy bloom. The yellow-orange flesh is characterized by juiciness, aroma, and dessert taste; the stone separates well. The fruits possess high transportability and are capable of being stored in a refrigerator for up to 1.5 months.
The variety possesses good winter hardiness and high resistance to Plum pox virus and scab. Susceptibility to Monilinia and shot-hole disease is noted; under high humidity conditions, it may be sensitive to Pseudomonas-type infections.
