The variety is a tree 4–6 meters tall with a dense, upright, and wide crown. The flowering period begins in April; white flowers attract pollinating insects. Harvesting of medium-sized, oval, dark blue fruits begins at the end of September.
The fruits have juicy and sweet flesh, suitable for fresh consumption, baking, and processing. The variety has good winter hardiness, but may be susceptible to the Plum pox virus (Sharka). Data on self-fertility varies, so it is recommended to verify the need for pollinator varieties when planting.
