ActivePrunus domestica L. · European plum
Walter Hartmann c/o Universität Hohenheim
10 August 2026
The variety forms a tree of medium vigor with a semi-upright habit and a canopy of medium to high density. The fruits are of medium size and have an ellipsoid shape. After the removal of the waxy bloom, the fruit skin turns violet-blue, while the flesh is distinguished by a yellow-green hue, soft consistency, and high juiciness.
Fruit ripening occurs gradually, approximately five days after the 'Domácí velkoplodá' variety. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and industrial processing. The plant is best grown in warm and moderately warm regions in sheltered areas, as the flowers are sensitive to spring frosts.
