The fruits are medium to large in size, with a round or oval-oblong shape. The red-purple skin is covered with a bluish-violet bloom. The flesh is amber-yellow, tender, juicy, and has a sweet taste with slight acidity and spicy notes.
The tree is characterized by rapid growth and reaches a height of 8–10 meters. The variety is early-ripening; maturation begins from mid-July and occurs in several stages. It possesses good winter hardiness, but due to early flowering, it is sensitive to late spring frosts.
The variety is self-fertile; however, cross-pollination with The Czar, Queen Victoria, Stanley, and Reine Claude d'Althan varieties contributes to higher yields. Recommended for cultivation in wind-protected locations on fertile, moist soils.
